Wheelchair accessible & located in the heart of Berlin city west
Cool retro, oak wood floors and stylish, light-flooded rooms: Our second apartment (which was an old shop since 1906) is an interesting mix of „Old Berlin“ and modern life. The double bed is in a separate room: living room includes two more sleeping placed on a sofa. Our apartment was specially designed for disabled people in a wheelchair: Door and window rolleaus open electrically; kitchen and bathroom equipment is suitable for wheelchairs, too – and there’s place enough for turning and moving if You’re on wheels.
The „bavarian quarter“ of Berlin (all streets are named after bavarian cities) was a wealthy jewish quarter before WW2. After persecution of the jews and the bombardements of the war, lots of the old „Gründerzeit“-houses had been left and damaged. Our apartment is located in one of the old historic houses and close to the western city: have a nice breakfast nearby on the Viktoria-Luise-Platz and walk on to famous Tauentzien with KaDeWe, the Kurfürstendamm and Zoologischer Garten! Around the corner, there’s bus stop with wheelchair access, too.
The City Apartment is a holiday flat registered with the District Office and has the registration number 07/Z/AZ/012205-22.
